Membership Information

If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we want you to know that we already consider you a member of our family--the family of God. Even if you have not made a decision to follow Christ, we want you to feel at home around people who love you and want you to become part of God's family.

To be a member of His family you need only accept the relationship that God is offering you to be His child. Contact the church office or indicate on your Connect Card (distributed in Sunday worship services) your desire to speak to someone further about your acceptance of a relationship with Christ and about membership in the church.

Though you are already a member of our church family if you participate in worship, fellowship, service, study, and/or inviting others to the family, you may be interested in "joining" the church ministry. At Christ UMC, we believe that every member is called to carry out the ministry of the church. Therefore, every member of the family is encouraged to become a member of the ministry. This is what most people would refer to as 'joining the church.'

The church offers a pre-requisite meeting one Sunday each month (check the bulletin or News on the web site)  called, "Coffee with the Pastor" at 4:00pm. This forum provides individuals who want to join this congregation with an opportunity to learn more about our church and its beliefs. Questions and comments are most welcome. For those interested in baptism for themselves or their children, instruction and Q&A will begin following the joining portion of the meeting.
